Technical requirements

Compatible browsers

You can participate in ReGuide online tours on all major browsers, including IE11, Safari, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, and Google Chrome. When connecting to the tour, if an old browser or an incompatible browser or device is detected, a warning message is displayed and the experience may be different.

ReGuide is optimized to work on mobile / tablet devices, including iPhone, iPad, and Android devices.

Connection speed

A minimum bandwidth of 350 kbs is required to join any tour, but a 5 Mbs connection provides the best possible picture quality.

We recommend that you stop your downloads, file sharing, and other video and audio streaming services while you visit.

Check the quality of your internet access beforehand.

Firewall setting

ReGuide works with WebRTC, a fairly new technology that may require some network configuration in large companies with secure firewalls.

If you participate in a visit from your home on a WiFi / LAN network of your service provider or on a 4G / 5G network of your operator, you will not encounter any problem.

Audio authorization

In order to be able to intervene in the visit in a natural way, in conversation with the guide, you can use the chat and / or the microphone of your equipment.

The Re.Guide app needs your permission (one time only) to use the audio device during the session. If you deny this permission, you will not be able to join the tour and participate in the experience. If you don’t have a microphone or audio device, your experience may be different.
